Carolyn Abrams' Biography

I am a fully qualified, British-trained osteopathic practitioner, registered with the General Osteopathic Council in the UK. I completed a 4 year full-time diploma at the British College of Naturopathy and Osteopathy (now known as the British College of Osteopathic Medicine) in 1990 in London, England.

After working in my own practice and in an out-patient clinic at St Leonard's Hospital, London, I moved to Oxford in 1992. There I treated a wide variety of people and conditions including babies in the special care unit of the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford and the Barnet General Hospital in London. In 2000, I received a post-graduate diploma in Pediatric Osteopathy from the Osteopathic Centre for Children in London. Being a great believer in life long learning, I continue to update and increase my skills through continuing professional development courses.

I have a well-established practice in Vancouver and am a founding member and director of the Society for the Promotion of Manual Practice Osteopathy.
